COMMUNITY · PHOTOGRAPHY · FUNDRAISING
A charity calendar in aid of the Irish Blue Cross, sharing the stories of Ukrainian families and the dogs they brought with them to Ireland.
THE PROJECT
Paws from Ukraine was created by students on the Entrepreneurship / Start Your Own Business course at Coláiste Dhúlaigh College of Further Education. The calendar brings together photographs and personal stories about finding refuge in Ireland, resilience and the bond between people and their dogs.
PHOTOGRAPHY & COLLABORATION
Mariia Koshyrenkova and Charlie Murphy travelled across Ireland to meet the families and photograph their canine companions. Each month of the calendar shares a different story.
THE PURPOSE
The calendar was created to raise funds for the Irish Blue Cross, supporting its mobile veterinary clinics and essential care for pets.
